(not an artist, i draw for a living; not talented, just hard-working)
Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else is me doing useless animation and drawings :T
but i think if you put a lot of heart into something it will be reciprocated.
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada quietly posted a consultation process on the environmental impacts of FIPA on its website — and the deadline for comment is this Sunday. The Prime Minister’s Office is hoping to be able to point to this public consultation as proof the process has been transparent — and argue that no one is worried about environmental impacts of FIPA. But we can stop that plan by flooding the process with comments from tens of thousands of Canadians in the next 36 hours.
sirbookworm asked: Just curious-- I'm trying to tell by your posts if you're a Democrat or a Republican, but I'm having trouble. Which party do you lean more to?
Progressive? Liberal? i’m not a US citizen so i don’t have a bias towards either, but i do LIVE in this country and pay the taxes so i’m always worried about the politics of this country.
The Democrats have slipped into a conservative party waving the progressive flag; while the Republicans went so far to the right they just fell off the edge of sanity. this is of course a broad stroke description, and the situation is way more complicated than that.
i’m glad Obama is in office instead of Romney, but that doesn’t mean we don’t call out his bullshit.
Big business has a new plan to fatten their pockets: a giant global pact, with an international tribunal to enforce it, that is kept top secret for years (even from our lawmakers!) and then brought down like a Death Star on our democracies. Big Tobacco, Big Oil, Big Pharma, Walmart and almost 600 other corporate lobbyists are all in on the final draft — including limits on smoking laws, affordable medicines and free speech on the Net.
*disclaimer: this is not an attack on mormons, mormons are also probably the nicest people on earth in general it’s scary, i really wanted to feed them spicy chinese food when two very nice boys of theirs came to my door, just to see them turn a little red and show a little emotion*
references the case of Rachel Corrie, 23 year-old American activist who was crushed to death by an Israeli army bulldozer while peacefully protesting (standing in front of a Palestinian home to help prevent its demolition). In a ruling condemned by Amnesty International, an Israeli court has held that the government bears no responsibility for her death.
also realize that anger against a government does not equal anger against the people of that country as a whole.
I’m serious. STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING. If you are an American citizen over the age of 18 register to vote TODAY. Click above, it only takes a few minutes. Stop scrolling. Stop putting it off. Register RIGHT NOW.
this is important to me because…i’m not american and yet i live here =_=;;;

“We will be heard. Let the word go forth from this time and this place that Texas Democrats do matter…. We are Texas Democrats. We built the state of Texas… We are the party that built this state and we will not stand by and let the Republicans destroy it.”
