Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada quietly posted a consultation process on the environmental impacts of FIPA on its website — and the deadline for comment is this Sunday. The Prime Minister’s Office is hoping to be able to point to this public consultation as proof the process has been transparent — and argue that no one is worried about environmental impacts of FIPA. But we can stop that plan by flooding the process with comments from tens of thousands of Canadians in the next 36 hours.

Progressive? Liberal? i’m not a US citizen so i don’t have a bias towards either, but i do LIVE in this country and pay the taxes so i’m always worried about the politics of this country.
The Democrats have slipped into a conservative party waving the progressive flag; while the Republicans went so far to the right they just fell off the edge of sanity. this is of course a broad stroke description, and the situation is way more complicated than that.
i’m glad Obama is in office instead of Romney, but that doesn’t mean we don’t call out his bullshit.
